Edina, Mo. Oct. 30.—Galen E. (Mike) Doss, 60, a Knox county farmer of near here, died Sunday morning at 10:10 in Laughlin Hospital at Kirksville where he had been a patient a month.
Services will be held Tuesday afternoon at 3:30 in the Hudson Rimer funeral home at Edina. The Rev. Archie Cooper of Kirksville will officiate and burial will be in Pleasant Ridge cemetery near Greensburg.
Mr. Doss was born in Knox county, Jan. 21, 1907, a son of Virgil S. and Elsie Ann John son Doss. He was a member of the Baring Community Church.
Surviving are four sisters, Mrs. Lon (Oma) Story of Paonia, Colo., Mrs. Harrison (Alma) Kent of Ottumwa, la., Mrs. J. R. (Irene) Evans of near here and Mrs. Boyd (Virginia) Payne of Chelan. Wash., and three brothers, Harvey of Baring, Marion of La Plata and Raymond of San Francisco, Calif. He was preceded in death by a sister and a brother.
