Several neighbors said she had bars placed on several windows of her home because of her anxiety about being alone Harris said he wasn't aware of any signs of forced entry at the Todd residence Neighbors reported hearing nothing unusual this morning although one woman said she heard someone knocking on her door about 10 pm Wednesday Neigbor-hood residents characterized Mrs Todd as a quiet friendly person with a nice personality Police said her body was sent to a Dallas forensic laboratory for an autopsy Police arrested a 49-year-old black male in connection with the apparent shooting of a 50-year-old Wichita Falls woman who was found dead in her East Side residence early Thursday The man was arrested in the 1600 block of Central Expressway about 2 pm police said Bond hasn't been set yet in the offense Bertha Todd 4151 Juarez was shot several times in the head sometime between midnight and 4 am Thursday police said Officers at the scene said the woman was found in the bathroom
